Thing # 21 Search Tools for Podcasts

In Aug 2006 I first downloaded the program "Juice" to obtain podcasts for my phone. This program allows you to search, subscribe, download and play podcasts. At first I went overboard and searched and downloaded over 25 different podcasts. Then I narrowed it down to just a few. I used it as an alternate news source. Some of my favorites that I listen to are:
-From The Pages of the Post (Washington Post)
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/mmedia/postpodcast.xml
-NOW (PBS)
http://www.pbs.org/now/podcast.xml
-NPR: Hidden Kitchens
http://www.npr.org/rss/podcast.php?id=510063
-NPR: Shuffle
http://www.npr.org/rss/podcast.php?id=500006
-This WEEK in TECH

-net@nite

Podcasts on a public library could be used for program updating, storytelling for children, and updating bestseller/newly purchased lists.
